Terms of service

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the riptideads.com marketing site and, where you have a signed order or an active subscription, your use of a managed Riptide platform deployment or private cell operated under an agreement with The Riptide Authors. Private-deployment licenses are governed by the signed order and any accompanying license schedule; they are not a public software grant.

2. White-label license

Under a managed subscription, The Riptide Authors grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to operate your tenant of the Riptide platform under your own brand name, logo, domains, and served-ad branding ("White-Label Use"). White-Label Use does not require you to display any Riptide branding, trademark, or attribution in your served ad responses, console UI, or end-customer-facing reporting. You remain responsible for your own compliance obligations toward your publishers, advertisers, and end users, including any disclosures required by applicable law for the inventory and demand you operate through your tenant. This license terminates automatically if your subscription lapses or is terminated, at which point continued white-label use is not authorized under these terms.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Managed platform plans are billed per the commercial catalog described on the pricing page in effect at the time of your order, consisting of a fixed monthly platform fee and, where applicable, a role-scoped usage fee calculated from your partitioned usage metrics. Your own fee schedules charged to your publishers and demand partners are configured by you and are not part of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use a managed deployment to serve unlawful content, to circumvent tenant isolation or security controls, or to attempt to access another tenant's data.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The marketing site and, except as otherwise stated in a signed order, any managed platform access are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Riptide Authors is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the marketing site or a managed deployment.

7. Changes to these terms

We will update the version number and effective date above whenever these terms change, and keep prior versions available on request.
