Offer your services through Open Lake

How demand partners and software vendors can offer services through Open Lake, with published terms, usage records, and settlement statements.

Package a service that tenants can use

A tenant may need access to a buyer, an audience signal, or a creative verification service. Open Lake lets partners offer these services through listings with defined terms. Eligible tenants can discover the offer, review its requirements, and activate it.

For software vendors, an installable stack product connects a tested integration with its pricing and access rules. For demand partners, a listing describes the capacity or buying service available. Recorded fees help customers check what they paid against the agreement.

Ways to integrate

Choose the interface for the job your service performs. A request enrichment service supplies signals before the auction; a reporting client reads its results afterward.

Product Extension point
Optimization Decisioners Register a decision model, evaluate it against a deterministic baseline, and let operators control live use
Enrichment Add signals to a request before the auction runs
Verification Return supply or creative checks that operators can inspect
Reporting Query and export the reporting catalog; adding stored dimensions requires a platform change
Demand access Publish demand capacity and routes that eligible partners can activate

Riptide handles tenant isolation, configuration, and ad serving. You operate the service behind your integration and meet its interface and performance requirements. See the plugin overview and partner guide for supported options.

Distribution, billing, and performance records

Distribution. Publish a listing for eligible tenants to discover. Product installation applies the configured permissions and integration settings. Your service still needs to be deployed, reachable, and compatible with the supported interface.

Billing. Usage is metered under the product's pricing model. Vendor settlement statements show earnings after the platform's share. Payment depends on the agreed commercial terms and configured settlement services.

Performance. Product scores and participant reputation records reflect observed results. These records inform access controls and can lead to a listing being paused when it persistently falls below the required threshold.

What the receipt shows

A fill receipt records fee amounts, their types, and the roles of the recipients. A product can earn a fee for contributing to a decision without its vendor becoming an inventory reseller. The receipt records that contribution separately from the supply chain's intermediary roles.

Vendor settlement statements show the platform's share and the vendor's earnings. Customers and vendors can compare these records with the published pricing model and investigate discrepancies.

Requirements for publication and live use

Conformance. An operator must verify passing results against the appropriate extension interface before a stack product can be published. Serving plugins run in separate sidecar services with defined execution limits.

Decision controls. Model-based Decisioners use deterministic baselines and support shadow evaluation before live use. Operators control promotion and the limits on a model's decisions.

Ongoing review. Live performance feeds product scores. Sustained underperformance can pause a listing, and operators can review exceptional cases.

Prepare your integration

Use the extension guide to choose an interface. Serving plugins, decision models, and reporting clients have different integration requirements. The downloadable examples include local tests and setup instructions.

Before publishing, deploy your service, run the relevant host conformance tests, and have the operator verify the results. Confirm tenant access, partner terms, pricing, and settlement configuration before accepting paid use.

Follow the stack-product guide for installation and verification, or read the Open Lake guide for listings and partner agreements.
